How we met...
July is a busy month for my family for birthdays. With multiple cousins having birthdays in the month of July, I went up to celebrate with some of my cousins to the Seattle/Tacoma. It also happened to be during the middle of an extreme heatwave for the area. Despite the ridiculously warm weather, we had decided to go out for the night to one of their favorite spots, The Swiss in downtown Tacoma. Hayden happened to be hiding out from the heat by getting an air conditioned room at a hotel in Tacoma. He also happened to decide to go to The Swiss as well. When I left to get a drink, Hayden approached the table and asked my cousin if he could leave his drinks there to find his friends who he thought had ditched him. When he came back he asked if he could at least sit with us until he finished his drinks before he left saying his friends had decided to leave without him. After a long night and him never asking for my phone number, I thought that was the end of it. After becoming friends with my sister-in-law, he finally got the nerve to ask for my number a couple months later and ask me out... only to eventually tell me, that he knew all along that his friends were going to leave that night in Tacoma. It was all started with a little fib, but worth it in the end!
